The reigning Super Bowl-champion Seattle Seahawks got off to a rocky start in their 2026 NFL campaign, posting a 3-3 record heading into Week 7.
However, the Seahawks got their season back on track in a primetime victory on Sunday night — handing the Kansas City Chiefs their first loss of the year.
The Seahawks dominated on both sides of the ball, notching a 20-3 final score at Lumen Field. They held the Chiefs offense — led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes and reigning Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III — without a single touchdown in the primetime contest. Jaxon Smith-Njigba posted yet another stellar performance, catching nine passes for 150 yards and a score.

When speaking to reporters postgame, Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald shared confidence in his team as back-to-back Super Bowl contenders.
"I think this game reminds the guys what we're capable of," Macdonald said. "We're still a championship caliber team. That's what we're chasing."
The Seahawks, now 4-3, turn their attention toward a Week 8 matchup against the Chicago Bears this coming Sunday.
