Zimbabwe’s Er. July. G Moyo will attend the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit & Expo 2026, to be held from 2 to 5 November at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
Over 130 countries are expected at the Summit, which brings together policymakers, investors and innovators to discuss clean energy investment, technology partnerships and international cooperation. It is hosted by India’s Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).
The Summit will run alongside the 9th Session of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) Assembly and the 4th International Conference on Green Hydrogen (ICGH). Together, these events give countries one platform to discuss renewable energy markets, multilateral cooperation and new technologies.
For Zimbabwe, the Summit offers a chance to meet governments, investors and technology providers who are working on clean energy at scale. Discussions will cover clean energy financing, resilient supply chains, green hydrogen and scalable deployment models. For developing economies, the focus will be on affordable energy access, technology exchange and new ways to finance projects. The ISA Assembly will add a multilateral view, with countries looking at practical ways to expand solar deployment, raise investment and build local skills.
India’s own numbers give context to the discussions. Its non-fossil fuel capacity crossed 304 GW in August 2026, including 168 GW of solar. The country is working towards 500 GW of non-fossil capacity by 2030. Reaching that target will need major investment in renewable generation, transmission, storage, manufacturing and green hydrogen, which opens doors for international capital and technology partners. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said India is the first G20 country to achieve the target set under the Paris Agreement.
Shri Pralhad Joshi, Union Minister of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India, and President of the ISA Assembly, said, “India’s clean energy journey demonstrates what is possible when ambition is matched by investment, innovation and sustained action. But the energy transition is a shared global responsibility. At Bharat RE 2026, we invite governments, investors and innovators to forge partnerships, strengthen supply chains and advance solutions that make clean energy affordable and accessible to all. Together, we can turn shared ambition into lasting progress.”
The Summit expects over 75,000 participants, more than 400 exhibitors, 500 speakers and 90 curated sessions.
