Korea Tourism Organisation (KTO) Kuala Lumpur office invites Malaysians to discover their next holiday in Korea at GoTravel Expo 2026 this weekend at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre (MVEC), Kuala Lumpur.
With the year-end school holidays approaching and spring 2027 travel plans on the horizon, visitors can explore Korea’s diverse destinations at the KTO booth, from the coastal charm of Busan and the scenic beauty of Jeju Island to the snow-covered landscapes of Gangwon Province. Whether seeking winter adventures, seasonal scenery or a spring getaway surrounded by cherry blossoms, visitors can find inspiration for their next Korea holiday at KTO’s booth.

Discover Busan with greater flight connectivity
With Busan taking the spotlight, visitors can discover more about the city’s coastal attractions, cultural experiences and unique charm at the KTO booth. The destination is also set to become more accessible to Malaysian travellers, with Malaysia Airlines resuming its Kuala Lumpur–Busan route from Dec 2, operating four times weekly. The direct route offers travellers another convenient option to explore Busan, Korea’s second-largest city and discover more of Korea beyond Seoul.
Gifts for Korea holiday packages
Visitors who purchase eligible Korea travel packages during the expo can redeem a KTO umbrella, while packages that include a stay in Jeju Island qualify for an additional Jeju Tyvek bag. Participating exhibitors include the Busan Tourism Organisation, Gangwon State and Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, offering visitors more opportunities to discover Korea’s diverse destinations and plan their next holiday.
Collect stamps, redeem Binggrae Melona or Samanco ice cream
In collaboration with F&N Binggrae, visitors can participate in a stamp collection activity by visiting the booth and completing the respective activities. Collect all four stamps to redeem a complimentary Binggrae Melona or Samanco ice cream, while stocks last.

Experience K-culture
Beyond travel planning, visitors can enjoy a range of K-cultural activities throughout the three-day event, including a Hanbok experience available daily. Visitors can also look forward to appearances by KTO’s mascots, Hojong and Mugo, scheduled at 11am, 2pm and 6pm daily.
Through its participation at GoTravel Expo 2026, KTO aims to inspire more Malaysians to explore Korea’s regional destinations and experience Korea across different seasons.
