The Bureau Betak founder is exhibiting his fine art sculpture in a solo show with Salon 94 in New York.
Alexandre de Betak is lighting up New York this fall.
The Bureau Betak founder, who has produced some of the most memorable runway set designs in recent years, has a different type of immersive show on the horizon. After establishing an atelier in London in 2025 to focus on his fine art practice, De Betak is getting ready to debut his first solo gallery exhibition. Opening in November at Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn’s Upper East Side gallery Salon 94, “Truss Lights Sculptures 01” will highlight two series of De Betak’s sculptural light works. The two installations transform raw aluminum, bronze and prismatic glass into reactive light sequences, composed using hallmarks of fashion show design: trusses and stage lights.
