The following article contains spoilers for ‘The Celebrity Traitors’ episodes seven and eight.
We’re in the home stretch – over the penultimate week of everyone’s favourite reality TV sensation, Ross Kemp was bored to death, Jerry Hall’s hilarious and chaotic stint on the show came to an abrupt end, there was a nail-biting tie at the roundtable, and the traitors were (astoundingly) voted the three most trustworthy players left in the game. You really couldn’t make it up. These are the 47 burning questions I was left with as we enter the final week of The Celebrity Traitors.
- Was Ross Kemp first to yawn because he’s tired himself out with all his paranoia?
- Was Maya Jama right to speak up so quickly when asked who was in the room with Ross?
- I guess so, because it makes her look like a faithful, but will it bring heat on her later?
- Can Michael Sheen please get off Leigh-Anne Pinnock’s back?
- She was just trying to dance and have fun; does that have to be inherently suspicious?
- Though, I guess, if she was a traitor, it would be a great way to distract the players while a murder took place?
- Does Michael have to take everything so seriously?
- It’s going to get him killed soon, surely?
- Why didn’t James Acaster at least take off his blindfold to tell the other traitors he wasn’t going to do anything?
- I get it as a move, but I think it’s going to make Maya and Kenny turn against him?
- Like, they’d definitely vote him out and win together, right?
- In the turret, James did well to diffuse the situation with humour and point out that he killed Ross in plain sight, but also, he and Maya did that together?
- He was the one to say, “Ross, am I boring you?” but that was just one part of it?
- It was a stressful situation, but why did Maya and Kenny panic so much in the challenge?
- Why couldn’t they get the right pieces for the shield to win the team money?
- If Miranda felt the floorboards move, why did she suspect Joanne McNally so much and not suspect Maya more?
- Is Sharon Rooney suddenly landing on the perfume bottle theory a bit convenient?
- It kinda feels like the producers nudged her towards it?
- It’s funny how scared people are about accusing Joanne at the roundtable?
- It was a bit mean how Michael turned the vote towards Jerry Hall by being like “we need the strongest team of faithfuls”?
- Jerry had a good run on the show, but I still wanted to see more from her?
- At this point, people didn’t really think she was a traitor, so maybe it would have been worth voting off someone else who had more suspicion on them?
- Miranda was fun, but also, that was the only correct murder right?
- Though I suspect Romesh Ranganathan might not be in the game for much longer either?
- I actually really want the tide to turn against Michael and see him banished?
- It’s true that he shouldn’t really be in the game anymore?
- And also kinda the same with James Blunt – he has fun moments but he is very influential and that hasn’t been talked about enough?
- Did anyone else zone out during the mission again and then wonder what was happening with these exploding heads?
- What are the chances that all three traitors would get chosen as the most trusted players?!
- And not one of them said a word or advocated for themselves?
- I guess that’s why they look so faithful?
- Are they actually going to win as a three?
- I get that Sharon was trying to say that James didn’t want to be chosen, but does she realise that her behaviour would seem suspicious?
- If Kenny’s dagger is single use, is it fair that he gets a double vote in the second round of voting after the tie?
- Sharon and Joanne have both done enough to go, to be honest?
- Why didn’t they both plead their case better?
- How did Joanne even get this far?
- Why did Maya vote for Sebastian?
- I don’t think she explained herself well enough?
- Will Sebastian realise that Maya’s a traitor?
- I feel like he knows more than he’s letting on; for example he mentioned his suspicions of James Acaster, but he’s strategically kept quiet. Will he do the same about Maya?
- Kenny would look weird if he didn’t stick to his first vote, right?
- So Sharon’s gone then?
- In which case, does the perfume theory die with her?
- Why aren’t people talking more about Ross’s murder in plain sight?
- He was with Jerry, who everyone now knows is a faithful, and Sharon, if she goes, will also be revealed to be a faithful. The other three people who openly admitted to being in the room with Ross were Maya, James and Kenny??
- This week’s episodes were fun, but this season isn’t as good as the last one, right?
