There’s nothing like a triumphant homecoming. Just days after celebrating the 20th anniversary of her debut, self-titled album, Taylor Swift headed back to Tennessee to become the youngest person ever inducted into the 2026 Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala. And for the full-circle moment, she leaned into her country roots.

Swift, who grew up in Pennsylvania before moving to the country music capital for high school, marked the special occasion with a sweet little minidress covered in embroidery. Courtesy of Istanbul-based label Raisa Vanessa, the autumnal piece was crafted from burgundy velvet with a strapless silhouette and micro skirt. Covering the front and back of the number, shades of greens, purples, and oranges formed organic florals, bows, and chains, creating a romantic fairytale of motifs perfect for the “Love Story” songstress.
Swift wore the mini with heeled Jimmy Choo sandals, also in purple velvet, and accessorized with a sparkling pear-shaped Leviev diamond choker. Her glam was full of soft pinks and sparkles, and her short bob was given some natural waves—perhaps alluding to the curly-haired teenager who first stepped onto the Nashville scene over two decades ago.

Earlier this year, the “Patient Zero” singer also became the youngest woman (and second youngest person) ever inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York City. There, she paired her classic red lip with a custom black floral Givenchy gown designed by Sarah Burton, and gave a touching speech on her early days of writing songs in her childhood bedroom, and the future of the music industry.
