Despite the loss to the Broncos, the Cardinals’ top offensive playmaker got in on the festivities during National Tight End Day with 10 receptions for 111 yards and a touchdown. Entering Monday Night Football, McBride now currently leads the NFL with 59 catches, one more than Seahawks superstar wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba. McBride’s 472 receiving yards are also the most in the league among tight ends, as well.
As much as the organization wishes they could have gotten a win on Larry Fitzgerald’s special day, at least McBride managed to remind Fitz what it looks like for a Cardinals player to still light up the box score.
