History odds favor the Milwaukee Brewers to win the World Series after a 2-0 start.
There have been 57 teams that took at 2-0 lead in the Fall Classic, and 46 of those teams won it all. That's an 81% chance in the Brew Crew's favor to become World Series champions. In total, 79 of 95 teams in best-of-seven series have held their 2-0 leads.
The last team to come back in any seven-game series was last year. The Toronto Blue Jays came back against the Seattle Mariners, outscoring them 21-6 to tie up the series. That was in the American League Championship Series. The last World Series comeback was in 1996. The New York Yankees were down 2-0 and won the next four games to win the MLB title.
The Brewers certainly aren't relying on history to win it all. The team is coming off a franchise-record 103-win season. The bullpen has been dominate. Brewers relievers have made 35 appearances over 46⅔ innings with a 1.34 ERA this postseason.
The Brewers bats are also hot at the right time. They've scored five runs or more in four of their last five games.

The Brewers look to keep that hot streak going at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, against the Rays. The Brewers have lost one postseason game this year, against the San Diego Padres in the NLDS.
