Sharks Halloween Party Confidential: Best Costume? Who Was in Masks?

It’s hard to figure out a Halloween costume when you’re coming off a six-game road trip.

So that’s how Sam Dickinson, Michael Misa, and Michael Kesselring ended up as a trio of horror movie icons.

“Michael,” Misa deadpanned, when asked who he was for the San Jose Sharks’ Halloween party, held on Sunday night at Darnell and Mikayla Nurse’s house.

That’s Michael Myers from “Halloween”. Dickinson was Jason from “Friday the 13^th”. Kesselring was Pennywise from “It”.

“We didn’t have anything to wear and that was what we ordered two hours before we got there,” Dickinson said. “So yeah, not really much backstory to it.”

Speaking of unprepared, San Jose Sharks captain Macklin Celebrini admitted that he’s never seen the movie that his Halloween costume is based on.

Celebrini went as Maverick and best friend Will Smith as Goose from “Top Gun”.

“It was kind of like a last-minute thing,” Celebrini said.

In much the same way, there doesn’t seem to be much backstory to Collin Graf and Luca Cagnoni’s matching costumes: Graf was SpongeBob SquarePants and Cagnoni was Spongebob’s best buddy Patrick Star.

“We flipped a coin,” Cagnoni said.

Barclay Goodrow and Zack Ostapchuk were two sides of the same coin, both coming as Shrek. Goodrow and Ostapchuk both said that wasn’t the plan.

But speaking of prepared: To a man, the San Jose Sharks agreed that the best costume was Adam and Micaela Gaudette’s.

Adam was the Joker and Micaela was Nurse Joker, both from “The Dark Knight”.

Impressive make-up work, especially on the fly!

Anyway, lots of the pictures are out from the San Jose Sharks’ Halloween party!

If you’re not sure about a couple costumes? Nolan Allan said he was the Yellow Hat Man from “Curious George” (his girlfriend was Curious George). Mason Marchment said he was a back-up dancer (his wife was Rihanna?).
