MOSCOW, October 26. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin currently has no plans on holding separate meetings with the new members of the government, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told TASS.
"No meetings as of yet. Who’s new there? There’s no one new. Everyone there [in the Cabinet] is someone who is constantly in contact with Putin," Peskov noted.
"You well know that [Prime Minister Mikhail] Mishustin earlier said there is no time for adaptation. This is why, there is no need for such meetings in this case," he added.
The candidacies of four new deputy prime ministers and a minister were proposed by Mishustin, they were granted support by Putin and endorsed by deputies of the State Duma on October 21.
The government was bolstered by former First Deputy Head of the Ministry of Finance Irina Okladnikova as she assumed the post of deputy prime minister. Her former superior, Anton Siluanov, also assumed the seat of a deputy prime minister, remaining in charge of the Finance Ministry.
Andrey Nikitin was promoted to the post of a deputy prime minister from the post of the head of the Transportation Ministry, where he was succeeded by former head of the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) Dmitry Yadrov, while Oleg Kozhemyako was promoted from the post of governor of the Primorye Region.
