eSawda, an independent digital marketplace, officially launched today to support F-commerce entrepreneurs, local sellers and small businesses across Bangladesh, offering new merchants free shop setup under an introductory package.
Launched on 27 October, 2026, the platform is designed as an accessible alternative to complex e-commerce channels, allowing merchants to set up digital storefronts, list products and connect with buyers without technical barriers, according to a press release.
For many F-commerce business owners and local artisans, the costs of website development, domain registration, hosting and ongoing maintenance can make building and maintaining an independent e-commerce website financially unfeasible.
eSawda aims to address this gap by providing sellers with the infrastructure needed to operate an online shop. Its features include a comprehensive seller dashboard, an order management system and a dedicated shop page to help merchants establish a professional brand presence.
To mark its nationwide launch, the platform has introduced an "Early Bird Launch Offer", allowing new merchants to get started free of charge.
The free package includes up to 20 active listings, five featured listings, basic shop performance analytics and full store management capabilities.
Through the initiative, eSawda aims to provide F-commerce entrepreneurs and small businesses with the digital tools needed to expand their operations, manage orders efficiently and move towards structured online storefronts.
Small business owners, local vendors and corporate partners have been invited to explore the platform and take up the free Early Bird shop setup offer.
