Houston Rockets star Alperen Sengun has gotten off to a hot start to begin the 2026-27 season, averaging 24.5 points, nine rebounds, seven assists 1.8 steals and 0.5 blocks through his first four games. The Turkish center has been especially efficient from beyond the arc, shooting 66.7% from 3-point range to go along with a mark of 58.1% from the field.
Unfortunately for head coach Ime Udoka and the Rockets, Sengun has been ruled out for Wednesday's road matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks due to lower back soreness. Steven Adams will also be sidelined, leaving veteran backup Clint Capela in line for extra minutes. Concerning former Defensive Player of the Year Award winner Marcus Smart, he's been listed as questionable due to a forearm strain.
As for Milwaukee, they are fully healthy with zero players on the injured list.
