Nollywood actor Frederick Leonard has sparked conversations on social media after sharing a cryptic message about ambition, contentment and finding peace, days after his ex-wife, actress Peggy Ovire, celebrated her 41st birthday.

In a post on Instagram, Leonard encouraged his followers to work hard, live well, stay grounded and appreciate the lives they are building.
“Somewhere between ambition and contentment, I found my peace,” part of the message read.
The actor’s post attracted attention because it came shortly after Ovire’s birthday celebrations. However, Leonard did not identify anyone as the subject of his message, and it remains unclear whether the quote was connected to his former marriage.

Peggy Ovire celebrated her 41st birthday on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, with memorable moments on a movie set and a glamorous outdoor party in Lagos.
Her celebrations began with an emotional surprise while she was on set filming. A Yoruba ewi performer, known for reciting poetic praise, sang in her honour and made references to her past heartbreak. The performance moved the actress to tears.
The following day, Ovire hosted an outdoor birthday party attended by several Nollywood stars, including Mike Ezuruonye, Chizzy Alichi, Uche Ogbodo and Empress Njamah.
Actor Nosa Rex was also among the guests and praised the celebrant, describing her as “Old Money”.
