When Noang joins the runway at Phnom Penh Designers Week this December, the emerging label will share the stage with established names in the capital’s fashion community — an opportunity that puts new talent at the heart of an evening of entertainment.
Supported through the event’s Young Designer Programme, Noang will be among five labels presenting collections at Oakwood Premier Phnom Penh on December 5. Behind the show is a network of designers, organisers and supporting businesses working to give independent fashion a wider audience.
Organised by Fashion Lab, the Fall/Winter 2026 edition will bring together Drewe Taylor, Ambre Men, Noang, A.N.D. and Don Protasio under the theme “Unstoppable Force”.
For audiences, the event offers an introduction to the different creative voices working in Phnom Penh. For participating designers, it provides a shared platform to present their work, express their identities and connect with people beyond their existing circles.
According to the organisers, the event aims to encourage dialogue and collaboration while creating opportunities for local talent to reach a broader audience.
Noang’s inclusion gives that ambition a concrete expression. The Young Designer Programme invites a promising young talent to show on the PPDW runway, placing an emerging creative voice alongside more established participants.
The organisers describe Noang’s work as an exploration of fashion, identity and contemporary culture, reflecting the role of personal perspective in shaping Cambodia’s next generation of design.
Its participation also brings a point of discovery to the evening: audiences will encounter a developing label as part of the same programme as designers with distinct and established approaches.
The collections will span contemporary dressing, expressive menswear, textile experimentation and darker, mood-driven designs.
Drewe Taylor will present a contemporary approach grounded in individuality and confident self-expression, according to the announcement.
Ambre Men will explore modern menswear through a reinterpretation of classic dressing, emphasising character and personal expression. Its contribution places men’s fashion within the evening’s broader examination of how clothing communicates identity.
A.N.D. will bring a focus on fabric, craft and tradition, combining contemporary design thinking with experimentation. The label’s inclusion connects the runway’s visual appeal with the materials and making behind the clothes.

Don Protasio will contribute his distinctive dark and moody style, using fashion as a medium for personality and visual expression.
Together, the five labels offer audiences several ways of looking at fashion in the capital. The organisers describe that variety as central to an event intended to bring different design identities into one space.
“Phnom Penh fashion is not defined by a single aesthetic, but by a growing range of individual perspectives,” organisers noted.
The event also draws attention to the cooperation required to create a public platform for independent design. Fashion Lab is organising the show, while Oakwood Premier Phnom Penh is providing the venue.
The organisers said the hotel’s involvement reflects the role hospitality and lifestyle businesses can play in supporting the city’s creative industries.
Other sponsors include Minerva Communications, One Park, Mori Bistro and The Phnom Penh Post.

Those partnerships form the supporting structure behind the runway, bringing together creative work, event organisation and a venue where designers and audiences can meet.
The December programme will give spectators an opportunity to discover the people and labels contributing to Phnom Penh’s fashion scene. For Noang, that encounter will also mark a chance to introduce its creative identity on a shared stage.
