Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Jackson Chourio added another milestone to his postseason resume Monday night, tying Hall of Famer Andruw Jones for the most multi-hit playoff games by a player before turning 23 during Game 3 of the World Series against the Tampa Bay Rays. The Brewers entered the matchup holding a 2-0 series lead.

The 22-year-old has repeatedly joined or passed Jones in the record books this October. Earlier in the National League Championship Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers, Chourio surpassed Jones for the most postseason RBIs before age 23. His sixth career playoff home run also established a record for players in that age group.
Chourio’s impact extends beyond individual milestones. Milwaukee entered Monday’s contest after winning the World Series opener 3-2 and rallying from a four-run deficit to take Game 2 by a 5-4 score. The Brewers continued their momentum in Game 3, building a commanding 10-0 lead over Tampa Bay entering the sixth inning.
The Venezuelan outfielder has been a central part of the Brewers’ lineup throughout its postseason run, batting leadoff while contributing both power and speed. During the 2026 regular season, he hit .291 with 25 home runs, 75 RBIs and 23 stolen bases.
The Brewers are making their first World Series appearance since 1982 and pursuing the franchise’s first championship. The Rays, meanwhile, are in danger of falling into a 3-0 series deficit.
For Chourio, Monday’s record-tying performance adds another chapter to an already historic postseason run before his 23rd birthday.
