The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Tuesday directed Boxing Federation of India (BFI) secretary-general Pramod Kumar to keep the General Body meeting called on October 28, to move a no-confidence motion against president Ajay Singh, in abeyance until the next hearing on November 13.
Following a petition filed by Ajay Singh, Justice Tribhuvan Dahiya issued the direction.
On October 23, World Boxing, the international governing body of the sport, had emphasised that a General Meeting of the federation must be convened and conducted in accordance with the BFI constitution.
