A FOREIGN tourist who was reported missing by his wife has been found in hospital after suffering a savage street robbery in Malaga.
The 46-year-old man was discovered unconscious in the street with severe head trauma by a Policia Local patrol in the La Trinidad neighbourhood mid-last week.
He was rushed to the Regional Hospital and admitted directly to the critical care unit, his mobile phone stolen and carrying no identification, SUR reports.

Unable to identify the victim, officers recorded a video of him in the emergency room to circulate in hopes of finding out who he was.
The mystery was solved when his panicked wife, who had travelled with him to the Costa del Sol capital, went to the Foreign Tourist Assistance Service (SATE) in Plaza de la Marina.
She reported her husband missing after not hearing from him for hours and being unable to reach his mobile phone.
A police patrol arrived at the municipal offices and showed her the video taken in the hospital, confirming her worst fears.
The victim is now recovering on a regular ward from his head injuries.
Policia Nacional officers have taken over the investigation and are hunting the attackers, who are believed to have punched the victim to the ground to steal his phone.
