The Hunter’s Full Moon in Taurus arrived on 26 October at 4.12 am. This lunar event shifts the energetic landscape significantly. Even though several planetary retrogrades invite us to re-examine the past, this lunation acts as a powerful catalyst to course-correct, adjust perspective and step onto more solid ground.
Bri Luna, founder of The Hoodwitch and author of Blood Sex Magic: Everyday Magic for the Modern Mystic, launched her platform under this exact lunation years ago. She explains: “Taurus Full Moons are excellent for spellwork focused on money, beauty and stability in the home,” adding, “I especially love this moon for working lasting money and love spells. Taurus brings that patience and commitment to tending what we want to grow, which makes this moon particularly meaningful for intentions around long-term security.”
This lunation also squares Pluto in Aquarius. This tense aspect pushes us to evolve and strip away outmoded patterns, confronting our relationship with vulnerability, control and fear. Pluto governs our shadow side, urging us to face discomfort head-on so we can emerge renewed. When one door shuts, another inevitably unlocks – and what lies ahead may offer far more promise than what we leave behind. Stagnation is the real risk; if we hesitate too long out of caution, circumstances may force our hand anyway. Embrace the evolution.
Meanwhile, Mercury stations retrograde in Scorpio and Venus retreats into Libra, joining Saturn retrograde in Aries, Uranus in Gemini, and Neptune in Aries. With five planets currently moving backwards, Mercury and Venus hit closest to home. Focus on staying grounded and doing your own inner work. Keep your core circle close, but allow everyone the grace to navigate their own process. With the veil thinning, our intuition exerts an immense pull on our emotional state. Senses are dialled up, receptive and tender – move gently and lead with care.

Aries
A surge of territorial energy could surface across your personal or professional life, tempting you to assert control over shifting dynamics. Before taking a hard stand, find a composed, measured way to state your position. Setting clear parameters with quiet conviction will keep discussions productive and prevent unnecessary friction.
Taurus
You rarely hide how you feel, and this Full Moon is no exception. However, you aren’t in the mood to overlook recurring behavioural patterns; you want to ensure your perspective is fully understood. Speaking your mind candidly is essential right now – feeling seen and respected is core to your sense of self-worth.
Gemini
Old memories tucked into the back corners of your mind are floating to the surface. When reflecting on the past, remember that memory is always coloured by emotion and personal vantage points. Keep an open mind when comparing notes with others; people can experience the exact same event through very different lenses, and both truths can coexist.
Cancer
When stress mounts, your default instinct is often to retreat into your protective shell. While guarding your peace is understandable, complete isolation can breed unnecessary confusion. Let a few trusted confidants step inside your circle. Leaning on your support system builds lasting trust and eases the burden of carrying everything alone.
Leo
If you are eyeing a step up in your career, this lunation highlights your readiness for leadership. Still, maintain discretion about your next moves. Not everyone in your sphere shares your collaborative mindset, and keeping your strategies close to the vest ensures your ambitions stay protected while you ascend.
Virgo
Taking the high road isn’t always easy, especially when you are bursting to air your grievances. Yet dignified composure often carries far more weight than an impulsive reaction. Be discerning about where you invest your energy. Take a beat to clear your head, release the frustration and decline to take the bait.
Libra
This Full Moon calls on you to lean into greater self-reliance. While you excel at collaboration and sharing resources, true independence is becoming your most valuable asset. Backing yourself and trusting your own capability is a milestone worth celebrating. Steady, deliberate steps will take you much further than relying on outside validation.
Scorpio
Games and mixed signals have zero appeal right now, whether someone else is testing boundaries or you feel tempted to put up walls. Drawing a clear line in the sand and insisting on transparent, unfiltered truth is your best approach. Cutting through pretence brings welcome relief, even amidst an emotionally unpredictable season.
Sagittarius
Bring a bit more structure to your daily rituals. Establishing a sustainable routine is essential, but it can quickly unravel if you drop everything to field outside requests. Only offer assistance when you have the genuine bandwidth to give it. Preserving your boundaries keeps your foundation steady and your goals on track.
Capricorn
Recent speculative ventures or shifting professional stakes need a stabilising hand, especially if constant oscillations are creating friction. You hold the reins here, so look for a balanced, pragmatic middle ground rather than making sudden, reactive pivots. Step back, survey the long game and consolidate your position.
Aquarius
The Hunter’s Moon offers an ideal moment to audit your future milestones. If you are debating your next chapter, draw inspiration from your past triumphs and reframe them through a fresh, inventive lens. Laying groundwork today ensures both your personal growth and professional presence remain distinct and enduring.
Pisces
Watching people you care about stumble is tough for your compassionate spirit, but stepping in as an unsolicited voice of reason can easily backfire. Sometimes well-intentioned advice turns into misplaced blame. Honour your own peace by letting others navigate their own learning curve; personal accountability is the only way genuine growth happens.
