November opens with the tail of Ópera al Parque and a public holiday on 2 November that thins the traffic and closes some offices. The first full weekend brings the free Carranguero Festival, a celebration of folk music from the Boyacá highlands, and Cypress Hill plays on 5 November.
Mid-month brings Colombian rock, and the final week adds a family show and a concert celebrating women in music.

Two public holidays fall on Mondays this month: 2 November for All Saints’ Day and 16 November for Cartagena Independence Day. Banks and many offices close, and some venues run reduced hours, so check before you travel.
Foreign cards sometimes fail on Colombian platforms, so have a backup card or ask your bank to approve international transactions. For getting around at night, use ride-hailing apps or book a taxi through a trusted app rather than hailing on the street.
TransMilenio is efficient for major venues but check the last service times if you are staying out late. The Bogotá cultural agenda on bogota.gov.co and the website of the Secretaría de Cultura, the city culture department, are the best weekly listings sources.
