Another day, another podcaster allegedly caught up in a viral cheating scandal...
If you've spent any time online lately, then there's a very good chance you've seen at least one video surrounding the Ethan Klein and H3 Podcast cheating saga. It's one of the messiest internet rabbit holes we've fallen down in yonks - and frankly, it doesn't look like it's slowing down anytime soon.
Cast your mind back to 2022, and you may remember Ned Fulmer's affair with a Try Guys producer blowing up the show (and his marriage.) Now, Ethan Klein is facing a similar media whirlwind. He's been accused of cheating on his wife of 14 years, Hila Klein, allegedly with a younger employee.
Might we add that Ethan was one of the Internet personalities who had some scathing comments on Ned's affair back in 2022. And yes, Ned certainly has some things to say now...
So, who is Ethan Klein? Who is he alleged to have cheated with? And what on earth is going down at H3 productions? The drama is only just beginning, so let's dive in.
Who are Ethan and Hila Klein?
If you aren’t familiar with Hila and Ethan Klein (and depending on what side of the internet you live in, why would you?), let us set the scene.
Hila and Ethan are the podcasting couple behind the H3 Podcast. They launched their YouTube channel, h3h3Productions, back in 2011, posting sketches and reaction videos that poked fun at viral clips and internet trends. In 2016 came the H3 Podcast, which now boasts millions of listeners and viewers. Its hours-long episodes mix pop culture commentary with celebrity interviews (hello there, Post Malone), with the wider podcast production crew becoming part of the show and joining in on discussions. H3 went on to become somewhat of a podcasting empire, becoming home to spin-off podcasts such as Frenemies (which Ethan once hosted with his now sister-in-law, Trisha Paytas.)
In 2017, Hila founded the clothing brand Teddy Fresh, later adding the makeup brand Teddy Glow.
Ethan met Israel-born Hila back in 2007, while on a birthright trip. Both were in their early 20s at the time, and went on to marry five years later in 2012. They now have three sons: Theodore 'Teddy', seven, Bruce, four, and Sunny, two.
Ethan has long cast himself as the ultimate 'wife guy,' code for a man who is quite literally obsessed with his other half. He even has a tattoo of Hila's face on his arm, alongside the quote, 'The greatest thing a man can do for his children is to love their mother.'
By all accounts, Ethan was Hila's biggest fan. So where did it all go wrong?

On October 22nd, H3 fans were left stunned when Ethan announced on his Instagram stories that the podcast would be going on an indefinite hiatus. The reason why seemed to emerge the following day, when Hila posted a devastating statement over on her Instagram accusing Ethan of being unfaithful.
What did Hila Klein’s statement say?
'I am living in a nightmare I can't wake up from,' Hila wrote in a statement on Instagram. 'My husband has been having an affair. I have been fed lie after lie for months. I am tired of lies. Here is the truth.’
Hila said she had sensed that something was wrong in their marriage. ‘I tried to ask him questions and share my concerns and hurt feelings,' she continued, 'but I was met with dismissive answers and no action. Things that bothered me continued to bother me, and he did nothing about it.
‘So I trusted him. Because I loved him. I stopped questioning him and began to question myself, my own instincts. My sanity.’
Eventually, Hila alleges, Ethan was ‘caught in a lie, and I knew I was done. But the lies continued. “It was just a kiss” became “it was emotional cheating.” After I dragged these lies from him, he finally admitted he’d been in an affair for over six months, the extent of which I’m sure I still don’t know.
‘The betrayal I feel is immeasurable. The person I loved and trusted for 20 years evaporated overnight. He was my safe place, my partner in marriage, parenting, and business. My only family on this side of the world. How do I even begin to make sense of this.’
Telling fans she doesn't yet ‘know what comes next,’ Hila described herself as being in ’survival mode, trying to navigate separation, co-parenting, and unthinkable heartbreak. All I can do right now is focus on taking care of myself and my children, one day at a time.’
She signed off with a message to others in a similar situation: 'You’re not crazy. Trust your instincts. Trust yourself. If you’re not being treated right, get up and leave.’
That same day, the H3 production crew released a statement of their own, revealing they would no longer be working with Ethan. Saying they were ‘shocked, angry and heartbroken to learn about Ethan’s ongoing affair,’ they added, ‘As soon as we found out, we all agreed: we would not continue working with Ethan involved or profiting in any way. We stand with Hila and will support her every step of the way. We’re disgusted by Ethan’s actions and the hurt he has caused. We all deserved better: Hila, us, and you.’
What has Ethan Klein said about his affair?
After Hila’s statement landed, Ethan released a response over on his Instagram stories.
‘I know a lot of people are understandably looking for a comment from me but I ask that you please respect my family’s privacy and do not contact them looking for me or asking for their comments,' he wrote. 'They have nothing to do with this and share in your outrage and disappointment.’
Per Variety, he then confirmed he would be stepping away from the H3 Podcast entirely: ‘I am working with Hila to urgently remove my ownership and financial stakes in any podcasts, Teddy Fresh, Teddy Glow, or any joint venture that I would profit from. All of your support will go directly to Hila and the crew.’
Urging fans to continue backing the team, Ethan added, ‘I do this in the hope that people can still support Hila and the crew without the concern of enriching me. I know the crew will make an awesome show, they are packed to the brim with the most talented, creative, hilarious and all around great people.’
Who did Ethan Klein allegedly cheat with? The Tamara Joseph rumours explained
Nothing has been confirmed about who the alleged affair was with - but that certainly hasn’t stopped the internet from speculating.
Online speculation has centered on one of the younger H3 employees, Tamara Joseph, who according to H3H3 Fandom, joined the show in 2025 as an intern. Fans have been pointing to the fact the crew had quietly unfollowed her, as well as analysing old videos. The employee in question has not responded to the rumours, and neither Ethan nor Hila has publicly named a third party as of yet.
What happened between Ned Fulmer and Ethan Klein?
As the allegations against Ethan came to light, it was none other than Ned Fulmer who became a prominent voice online. To understand why, we'll have to backtrack a bit...
In September 2022, Try Guys star Ned Fulmer admitted to a ‘consensual workplace relationship’ with an employee. Fans were especially shocked given how central Ned’s devotion to his wife, Ariel, had been to the group’s videos. That same month, the Try Guys announced they had removed Ned from the group.
At the time, Ethan was one of many Internet personalities who weighed in on the situation - and he didn't hold back. 'The really sad part is they have two kids,’ he said. ‘Cheating is so despicable, man, especially when there’s kids involved. F*ck, bro. Was it work it just to get some strange ass? If you’re in love with her, just get a divorce if it’s that important.’
He continued: ‘They f*cking put their wife through childbirth, they deliver you two children, and then you go and cheat on them. It’s got to be humiliating for his wife. And she’s got to do this in the public eye.’
Understandably, Ned has a few choice words to say about the current situation. When Hila's statement first surfaced, Ned took to X to write 'Ethan Klein can f*ck all the way off,' followed by, ‘Karma’s a b*tch, huh?’
What has Trisha Paytas said about the situation?
Unsurprisingly, all eyes are on Trisha Paytas, too.
She and Ethan once had a very public feud, which began when he accused her of creating content 'harmful to young women' after shaming her edited Instagram pictures. During one H3 appearance, Trisha claimed Hila 'deserved better' than Ethan, and things went swiftly south.
They later reunited for Frenemies, a podcast that was essentially the two of them arguing. It ended in 2021 after an explosive on-air row, with Trisha announcing she was leaving for good over disagreements about money, production and creative input.
Still, the show did bring something good into her life. It was while filming that she met Hila’s brother, Moses Hacmon. They married in 2021 and have three children together: daughters Malibu Barbie, four, and Elvis, two, and son Aquaman Moses, one.
Now, Trisha hasn’t directly commented on Ethan and Hila's split, but she did appear to reshare a cryptic post on her Instagram stories. A quote read, 'Please be with someone who thinks everything about you is a big deal. Your birthday? A big deal. Favourite food? Big deal. Fav flowers? Big deal. You in general? A big deal.'
