Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has ruled out the creation of a new province in Sindh. He said the Sindh Assembly had put a full stop to the issue. Bilawal also denied any consultation with the federal government over the proposed 28th Amendment.
Speaking at an event in Karachi, Bilawal said the PPP’s position on the province issue remained clear. He said the party had repeatedly expressed its stance. According to Bilawal, Sindh’s people and elected representatives had already made their decision.

Bilawal said inflation and unemployment had reached high levels. He added that the Sindh government was trying to reduce the financial burden on residents. Rising electricity bills had made payments difficult for many households, he said.
