Jayden Bogle has lifed the lid on his 2024 move from Sheffield United to Leeds United
Jayden Bogle has claimed it felt “right” to depart Sheffield United for Leeds United in the summer of 2024.
The marauding right-back had been on the books at Bramall Lane for four years and racked up 103 appearances in the colours of the Blades.
However, he decided to depart Sheffield United for a fresh start with their Yorkshire rivals Leeds in July 2024.
He has since gone from strength to strength in West Yorkshire, becoming a key figure for the Whites and fuelling calls for an England call-up with his form.

Jayden Bogle on Leeds United move
In an appearances on The Official Leeds United Podcast, the 26-year-old has discussed his decision to join Daniel Farke’s ranks over two years ago.
He said: “As soon as I heard Leeds were interested, that was it for me. I just think speaking to family and friends, I knew Leeds was a big club but I didn’t realise how big and how big the fanbase is and where this club belongs, which is in the Premier League.
“I’d seen the football they’d played over the years and I just thought ‘yeah, this feels right’.
“The boys were flying out to Germany the day after I signed or something. Obviously I know Eth (Ethan Ampadu) already, straight away he made me feel comfortable.
“I got there, I think they were doing a gym session, and straight away as soon as I walked over, he was like ‘that’s a fine for being late’. Just immediately made me feel comfortable.
“The team at the time was a fantastic squad, a young squad as well which made it easier to fit straight in.”

Jayden Bogle’s prior Elland Road experience
Bogle was no stranger to the Elland Road atmosphere and was part of the Derby County side that knocked Leeds out of the Championship play-offs in 2019.
Reflecting on that game, Bogle said: “It was carnage - just the whole emotion of the game, how it went, was just crazy. It’s probably one of the best games that’s been on TV.
“The first thing I remember is walking out at Elland Road, and you’re just like ‘wow’, The atmosphere was unbelievable, especially with how the first leg went as well, the fans were right up for it. It just erupted.
“At the end of the game, it was just more relief I think with how the game went and how everyone invested so much in it, both teams as well. You could see how much it meant to us and how devastated they were as well. You could just feel a lot of emotion in the game.”
