The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has launched a probe into dangerous driving by two drivers of luxury vehicles along the Nairobi Expressway, putting other road users at risk.
In a statement on Monday, October 26, NTSA called on Kenyans with details of the drivers and their car registration numbers to come forward and help with the investigation.
The authority condemned the conduct, warning that the drivers had endangered their lives, passengers and other road users.
In a video that has since gone viral on social media and drawn the authorities' attention, the drivers, largely known for forex trading, are captured racing a Mercedes-Benz C-Class and a Lamborghini on a dual carriageway while dangerously overtaking other cars.

In the footage seen by kenyans.co.ke, the luxurious vehicle came close to colliding with other cars while attempting to overtake from the left.
Collision-warning alarms could also be heard as occupants reacted to the manoeuvres.
The incident prompted calls for NTSA to identify the drivers and investigate the circumstances surrounding the footage, with many raising concerns on social media.
In response, NTSA appealed to members of the public with the vehicles' registration details to share the information through its direct messages on social media to facilitate investigations.
"These drivers not only put their own lives at risk, but also endangered passengers and other road users. It is deeply unfortunate that while comprehensive measures are being implemented to address road safety challenges, individuals still engage in such risky actions," NTSA stated.
"We urge any member of the public with the registration details of these vehicles to share them via DM. We will investigate and take immediate, appropriate action," it added.
The move comes amid heightened road enforcement measures by the authority following increased road crashes that have led to tens of lives lost in recent weeks.
A day earlier, 25 people lost their lives in a road crash along the Nairobi - Mombasa Highway at the Kanga area near Mtito Andei, with the Ministry of Roads and Transport announcing the strictest measures to prevent further loss of life.
