A Saudi-led coalition fighting Yemen's Houthi rebels said today (26 October) it had destroyed ballistic missile storage tunnels, launchers and other military facilities to reduce the rebels' ability to strike targets inside Saudi Arabia.
The operation destroyed five missile-storage tunnels, four ballistic missile launchers and another storage facility in Houthi-controlled territory. It also targeted supply routes, frontline fortifications and military equipment, Coalition spokesperson Maj. Gen. Turki al-Malki said.
Explosions were reported in Sanaa and along Yemen's Red Sea coast. Residents reported damage to homes, a residential building and Mokha General Hospital, while Houthi media reported strikes in several provinces.
