On Oct. 24, about 6:05 p.m., Kings District RCMP, fire services, and EHS responded to a report of a collision on Highway 101.
Officers learned that the drivers of a Ford F-350 truck, Honda CRV, Ford Fiesta and Nissan Rogue, all travelling westbound, had collided.
The driver of the Fiesta, a 51-year-old man from Hants Border, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The occupants of the other vehicles, a 23‑year‑old man from Port Williams driving a Ford F‑350, a 68‑year‑old man from Coldbrook driving a Honda CRV, and a 45‑year‑old woman from North Kingston driving a Nissan Rogue, were treated at the scene by paramedics.
The highway was closed for several hours while an RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the location of the collision.
The investigation is ongoing.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, including those with dashcam footage, is asked to contact Kings District RCMP at 902-679-5555.
