The Cincinnati Bengals' defense got strong backing from ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky in the aftermath of Sunday's 35-13 triumph over the Baltimore Ravens.
Appearing on "The Pat McAfee Show" Monday, Oct. 26, Orlovsky singled out veteran defensive tackle Jonathan Allen and linebackers Demetrius Knight Jr. and Barrett Carter for their contributions.
"Jonathan Allen has been really good for this Bengals defense," Orlovsky said, via a clip shared by McAfee. "I think Demetrius Knight Jr. and Barrett Carter are both really good players."

The admiration follows Cincinnati's second-half defensive turnaround in Baltimore. After falling behind 13-0 at halftime, the Bengals held the Ravens scoreless over the final two quarters while their offense scored 35 unanswered points.
Knight had one of the game's decisive plays, intercepting Tyler Huntley in the fourth quarter. The takeaway set up Joe Burrow's fourth touchdown pass, a 16-yard connection with Drew Sample.
Knight and Carter have become legitimate contributors in Cincinnati's linebacker group after joining the organization in the 2025 NFL draft. They finished their rookie seasons with 106 and 102 tackles, respectively.
Allen, a two-time Pro Bowler, joined Cincinnati during the 2026 offseason on a reported two-year, $26 million deal.
As the Bengals stand at 4-2, Orlovsky's endorsement simply adds to the growing recognition around Cincinnati's new-look defense.
