Rapper JAY-Z will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show in February 2027, after years of helping bring some of the world’s biggest music acts to the event through his partnership with the NFL.
Apple Music, the National Football League (NFL) and Roc Nation announced that JAY-Z will perform at the halftime show at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California, on February 14, 2027.
“From Reasonable Doubt to standing on the Super Bowl Halftime stage, this has been a journey,” JAY-Z said in a statement. “Thirty years of music, work, and culture on the world's biggest stage. This run continues to be a dream come true.”
Apple Music has also launched JAY-Z’s Road to Halftime on its platform, following a format used for previous performers. The initiative will feature exclusive content, season-long programming and experiences developed in partnership with the NFL.
“JAY-Z’s impact on global music culture is as profound as it is undeniable,” said Oliver Schusser, Apple’s Vice President of Music and International Content.
“We’ve had the privilege of working closely with him these last few years to bring some of the world's most exciting and prolific artists to the Super Bowl Halftime Show stage and we are so thrilled that he will be taking that stage himself this year. We know it's going to be an incredible show.”
The performance will be available to viewers on ESPN, ABC and Disney+, as well as on mobile devices through NFL+.
Apple Music became the title sponsor of the NFL’s Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2022, with Rihanna headlining its first edition under the partnership. Usher followed in 2024, while Kendrick Lamar headlined the 2025 show and Bad Bunny performed in 2026.
