Visalia Times-Delta/Tulare Advance-Register readers can now vote for their favorite high school athletes.
The poll closes at noon Friday, Oct. 30. There are no restrictions, so vote now and vote often. Please do not email your votes.
Here are the choices for this week:
- Anthony Bravo, football, Orosi: Bravo threw for a touchdown and ran for another as the Cardinals defeated Riverdale.
- Ja’khari Burrell, football, Central Valley Christian: Burrell rushed for 229 yards and three touchdowns on 45 carries, leading Central Valley Christian to a win over Tulare Union.
- Connor Cain, football, Golden West: Cain erupted for 163 yards receiving and three touchdowns on nine catches in a loss to Redwood.
- Sonny Casas, football, Dinuba: Casas exploded for 152 yards receiving and three touchdowns on just four catches as the Emperors beat Washington Union.
- Mike Ennis, football, Porterville: Ennis threw for 254 yards and three touchdowns and also added a rushing touchdown and 59 yards rushing in a defeat to Mt. Whitney.
- Luis Garcia, football, Woodlake: Garcia completed 11-of-15 passes for 161 yards and three touchdowns to carry the Tigers to a victory against Lindsay.
- Qur'an Goodman, football, Redwood: Goodman ran for 190 yards and three touchdowns to anchor the Rangers to a win against Golden West.
- Jake Westmoreland, football, Mt. Whitney: Westmoreland scored two touchdowns (one rushing, one receiving) as the Pioneers edged Porterville.

How to nominate an Athlete of the Week
Nominations are based on information available to the Times-Delta.
All high school varsity players from Tulare County can be on the ballot. Nominations must be received by Monday morning following that week's games for consideration.
Anyone can nominate an athlete of the week for every sport. Nominate next week’s ballot through email. Readers can email nominations to sports reporter Vongni Yang at vyang2@visaliatimesdelta.com. Please include a player’s statistics and a photo if possible.
