NTA Opens RMS CET 2026 Application Correction Window; Check Editable Fields, Direct Link

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the application correction window for the Rashtriya Military School Common Entrance Test (RMS CET) 2026. Registered candidates can edit permitted details in their application forms until October 28, 2026, at 11:50 pm through the official website, exams.nta.nic.in/rmscet.

The correction facility has been provided following requests from candidates seeking to rectify details submitted in their online applications. NTA has advised applicants to verify their information and complete the necessary changes before the deadline.

According to the agency, the correction facility is available only once. After submitting the corrections, candidates' application forms will be frozen, and no further changes will be permitted.

RMS CET 2026: Editable Fields

NTA has specified the fields that candidates can modify and those that will remain unchanged.

Details that cannot be changed:

• Mobile number
• Email address
• Permanent and present address
• Emergency contact details
• Candidate's photograph

Candidates can change any one of the following:

• Candidate's name
• Father's name
• Mother's name

Other editable details include:

• Class V and Class VIII equivalent details
• Examination city selection, subject to the prescribed address conditions
• Date of birth
• Gender
• Category
• Signature
• Thumb impression
• Domicile certificate
• Birth certificate

Candidates who registered using an identity document other than Aadhaar can also modify their Aadhaar details as permitted under the official notice.

RMS CET 2026 Application Form: Steps to Edit

Candidates can follow these steps to make corrections before the deadline:

1. Visit the official website at exams.nta.nic.in/rmscet.
2. Open the candidate login section.
3. Log in using the required credentials.
4. Access the RMS CET 2026 application form.
5. Review the details that require correction.
6. Edit the permitted fields carefully.
7. Pay any additional fee, if applicable.
8. Submit the corrected form and save a copy for future reference.

NTA has clarified that candidates may have to pay an additional fee if their corrections affect the application fee. Any applicable payment must be completed for the corrections to take effect. The agency has also stated that fees will not be refunded.

Candidates should submit their corrections by October 28 at 11:50 pm. Since the facility is available only once, applicants are advised to check every detail carefully before final submission.
