Japanese apparel retailer Uniqlo will join Canadian companies Aritzia and Simons in the 230,000-sq.-ft. shopping centre space facing Georgia and Granville streets.
So far, Simons has claimed 92,000 square feet of the location, while Aritzia will take over 40,000 square feet of the former Nordstrom store at CF Pacific Centre between Granville and Howe Street and Robson and Georgia. Uniqlo, a CF Pacific Centre spokesperson confirmed, will be the completion of the redevelopment.
Marking the first retail outpost for Uniqlo in downtown Vancouver — the retailer already operates six stores in Metro Vancouver including in Richmond, Burnaby and Langley — the planned retail opening in Spring 2027 also marks the 10th anniversary of Uniqlo in Canada.

According to Yuya Tanahashi, chief operating officer of Uniqlo Canada, the city’s approach to outdoor activities and appreciation for design make it a primary market of growth for the global brand.
“Vancouver is a global city with a distinct way of living — active, practical and design driven,” said Tanahashi in a news release. “This closely resonates with our LifeWear philosophy, which ensures our clothing improves everyday life for everyone.”
The new store will feature a full selection of Uniqlo goods, including items for men, women, kids and babies. The UT t-shirt collections and seasonal collaborations from the likes of JW Anderson and Uniqlo :C from designer Clare Waight Keller will also be available in the new space.
After arriving in Canada in 2016 with its first store at CF Eaton Centre in Toronto, the brand has since expanded its presence across the country, opening 41 stores during the past decade. The first Uniqlo store in B.C. opened in 2017 at Metrotown in Burnaby. Uniqlo now operates more than 2,500 stores worldwide.
