(ANSA) - ROME, 26 OTT - Jannik Sinner will make his comeback from a long layoff with a knee injury at the end of December at the Six Kings Slam event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Supertennis, the TV channel of the Italian tennis federation, reported on Monday.
The report came after the world number one posted a story on his Instagram profile with a tournament card with his face and name on.
The 25-year-old has not played since retaining his Wimbledon title in July to claim the fifth Grand Slam of his career.
Earlier this month he said his 2026 was over because of the knee problem.
Sinner won the two previous Six Kings Slam events in 2024 and 2025.
The tournament is not part of the ATP tour and players do not earn ranking points by participating. (ANSA).
