According to Africa Daily, which published the report on Sunday, 25 October 2026, the Newzroom Afrika CEO is pregnant, with an unnamed source allegedly close to her sharing details about the news.
The publication reported that Ngwato was excited about becoming a mother and had reportedly shared her happiness with friends. However, the pregnancy has not been independently confirmed by the couple. Africa Daily stated that neither Ngwato nor Tau had responded to its written questions by the time of publication.
Tau and Ngwato's reported pregnancy follows wedding
The baby news comes after reports that the former Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates defender married Ngwato in a private ceremony in Muldersdrift, Gauteng.
It was reported on 11 May 2025 that Tau and the Newzroom Afrika executive had tied the knot in a low-key wedding attended by close family members and associates. Further reports stated that the pair had been romantically involved years earlier before going their separate ways and later rekindling their relationship.
The latest pregnancy report has brought renewed attention to the couple, who have generally kept their relationship out of the public eye.
