The festival had to be cancelled on Saturday but there was still time for plenty of spooky fun.
Paisley Halloween Festival cast its spell over the town centre as thousands turned out for one of Scotland’s biggest Halloween celebrations.
Paisley was transformed into a spine-tingling spectacle of light, music and street theatre at the free to attend event on Friday, with families and visitors enjoying a packed programme of entertainment around every corner.
A highlight of the evening was the festival’s spectacular Halloween parade, which brought this year’s Haunted House theme to life.
Crowds lined the streets to watch the procession of hundreds of professional and local community performers march through the town centre in a dazzling display of colour, performance and creativity.
The town was dressed in its spooky best with monster installations and eerie lighting displays on some of the town’s most well-known buildings.
Paisley Halloween Festival is delivered by Renfrewshire Council's events team in partnership with performance specialists Cirque Bijou and lighting experts Woodroffe Bassett Design.
Sadly the second night of the two-day event on Saturday had to be cancelled due to stormy weather, but here are 14 amazing photos of the Friday night.
