McDonald’s has a new kind of drip.
The Golden Arches just revealed a series of limited-edition drinks— a Frosted Cranberry Splash with Sprite, a Red Bull Cranberry Energizer and a Cookie Butter Frappé that can be added to coffee — that will only hit counters for the holidays.
The mega-chain’s newest sippers will hit all locations on November 3.
The Frosted Cranberry Splash with Sprite includes a mix of orange and cranberry flavors, cold foam and red sprinkles.
The Red Bull Cranberry Energizer is a high-caffeine sip for “for packed holiday schedules and festive adventures,” according to the fast food chain.
It can be mixed with original Red Bull or its low-sugar alternative, Red Bull Zero.
The versatile Cookie Butter drinks, which cover both hot and cold coffee options with the same sugary flavor profile, are topped with caramel cookie crumbs and sweet vanilla whipped cream.
The internet-famous foodie content creator @snackolater managed to get his hands on two of the Cookie Butter holiday drinks before the general public — and posted his initial impressions of the refreshments for his one million TikTok followers and 857K Instagram followers.
He was especially excited about the cookie butter drinks, which he claimed are “the best that they’ve ever done… It’s like a cookie butter dessert at McDonald’s.”
“Cookie butter flavor is more subtle in the latte because you’re getting more of that espresso taste,” he explained, giving the drink a ranking of seven out of 10.
The Gotham-based content creator Michelle Kim also posted a video of her McDonald’s taste test, and was especially excited about the cranberry options.
“I usually don’t like Red Bull,” the creator admitted. “But the cranberry is really good.”
She seemed to enjoy the Sprite-based drink even more.
“That’s good…you taste more of the cranberry for this,” she said.
And like the Snackolator, Kim was into the cookie butter option.
“Mmm, that’s perfect for the holidays,” she said after taking a sip of the flavored latte.
The announcement comes on the heels of McDonald’s bringing back its iconic McRib this week.
