On the gridiron, Taunton football fell in a back-and-forth Hockomock Kelley-Rex contest to former Bridgewater-Raynham assistant Lamont Penn's Attleboro while Bridgewater-Raynham and Bristol-Plymouth remained undefeated in league play and Dighton-Rehoboth scored its first win over South Coast Blue rivals Somerset Berkley since 2018.
