Welcome to Week 7 of GametimeCT's boys soccer power rankings. This week marks the end of the regular season and the beginning of conference tournaments.
There was minimal movement in this week's power rankings, and all the movement was done by FCIAC teams.
No. 6 Stamford and No. 7 Greenwich switched places, despite both teams taking losses to strong opponents in the final week of the regular season. Stamford will enter the FCIAC tournament as the No. 2 seed while Greenwich will be the No. 4 seed.
Trumbull returns to the Top 10, displacing Weston. Trumbull pulled off a 1-0 victory over Greenwich, thanks to Danny Ramirez's game-winning goal with 15 second left.
All other Top 10 teams remained in the same spot from the previous week.
PLEASE NOTE:This is not a media poll, nor a Connecticut coaches poll, which GametimeCT runs weekly. It is determined by boys soccer writer Will Aldam each week. Please reach out with your own thoughts, or critique, to will.aldam@hearstmediact.com.
