Samsung is preparing to launch a new foldable in China that is based on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. The new foldable is the China-exclusive Samsung W27, and a leak has given us our best look at its gorgeous design.
In a few days, Samsung will announce a new W series foldable smartphone in China. The new model is expected to launch as the Samsung W27, a China-exclusive and luxury version of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. Ahead of its launch on October 29, a leak has provided a good look at the phone's design.
The Samsung W27 will be available in Aura Blue, according to an X post by Evan Blass. However, the official poster for the announcement hints at a red variant. Unfortunately, there are no images of the red variant as Evan Blass' post is a collage of photos of the Aura Blue Samsung W27, showing it from different angles.
According to the image, the W27 will have a gold hinge like its predecessor. The textured frame, as well as the camera island and the rings around the rear cameras, are gold too. This gold color complements the dark blue back of the phone pretty well. The W27 also has the familiar “Heart for the world” logo on the back, just like its predecessor, the Samsung W26.
Apart from the cosmetic upgrade, the Samsung W27 should also have more RAM than the base model of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra (curr. available on Amazon for $1899.99). It is also expected to come in a premium retail package; and going by the Samsung W26, it may even ship with a case, a charger, and a USB-C cable.
