Bayern Munich star Harry Kane wins Men’s Striker of the Year

Harry Kane has another individual accolade to add to his ever-growing collection, with the Bayern Munich striker winning the Men’s Striker of the Year award at the Ballon d’Or ceremony!

It has been a phenomenal year for Kane, whose goalscoring exploits have continued to underline why Bayern Munich made him the centerpiece of its attack. The England captain has delivered consistently at the highest level, and this latest honor recognizes his outstanding work in front of goal.

Kane was quick to acknowledge the people who helped make his achievements possible, emphasizing that his success has never been a solo effort.

“It has truly been a magical year. What I’ve achieved has really meant a lot to me, and I’m extremely proud of it. Without a doubt, this has been the best season of my career, and none of it would ever have been possible without all the people around me. Obviously, my teammates, both at my club and with the England national team, and of course, my coaches. I would never have been able to score all these goals without my teammates, or without giving everything in training and during matches,” Kane said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).

Kane also reserved special thanks for his family, including his wife, Kate, who has supported him throughout his career.

“I’d also like to thank my family, of course. None of this would have been possible without them, and without the whole team around me who help me keep my feet on the ground. And then, of course, my wife, who is here. We’re truly on this journey together, and I know it would be impossible without you. There are so many people I could thank right now, but obviously, I don’t want to offend anyone by leaving them out. Thank you very much.”

Bayern Munich has one of the best strikers in world football, and this award is another well-deserved recognition of his incredible quality.
