Nicki Minaj joins Trump at a rally on Air Force One and he praises her "beautiful ass": "It's hard not to notice it"

The relationship between Nicki Minaj and Donald Trump shows clear signs of great cordiality and affinity. The Trinidadian rapperaccompaniedthe President of the United States aboard Air Force One this weekend on the way to a campaign event held in Michigan to support the Republican Senate candidate, Mike Rogers. Over the years, the artist has become one of his most visible supporters. Her support for the president has been reflected in various public appearances alongside members of the Republican Administration.

The latest sign of that closeness came through a video shared on X by Steven Cheung, White House communications director. In the footage, Minaj appears inside the presidential plane praising the policies promoted by Trump. "I think we've found the new White House press secretary," Cheung joked in the post. The singer responded to the comment with a laughing emoji.

Although Minaj did not speak at the rally, she did show her support with her presence, and it was Trump himself who wanted to make an aside about it. The president then made a striking remark by praising her "beautiful butt." "Stand up, it's hard not to see it," the president told the crowd.

Minaj has declared herself Trump's "number one fan"

The event had as its main objective to boost Mike Rogers's candidacy, who is facing Democrat Abdul El-Sayed in a closely contested race for a Senate seat. The upcoming midterm elections on November 3 will be key in determining control of the U.S. Congress.

In recent years, Minaj has strengthened her ties with the American conservative movement. The singer, who has millions of followers grouped under the name Barbz, has even gone so far as to declare herself Trump's "number one fan."

Minaj's brutal contrast with Trump over these years

The rapprochement is striking considering that in 2018 she harshly criticized the Republican's immigration policy and revealed that she had arrived in the United States irregularly when she was just five years old. Already in January of this year, she claimed to have received for free a "gold card" promoted by Trump, a controversial program linked to obtaining permanent residency for foreigners who make significant economic contributions to the U.S. government.
