Anthropic plans to make its IPO filing public Monday at about 9 a.m. ET, according to Bloomberg. The company behind the Claude AI model expects the offering to rival or top SpaceX's IPO in scale, according to Bloomberg.
The document is a Form S-1 registration statement, according to Crypto Briefing. Anthropic gave the SEC a private preliminary version of the filing on June 1, according to Crypto Briefing.
Bankers are aiming to raise as much as $100 billion, with a valuation near $2 trillion, according to Crypto Briefing. Morgan Stanley $MS and Goldman Sachs $GS are the joint bookrunners, according to Crypto Briefing.
Anthropic could begin marketing the offering the week of Nov. 9, according to Bloomberg. Crypto Briefing said the roadshow is expected to start that week, with pricing to follow depending on market conditions.
According to Crypto Briefing, the draft prospectus shows Anthropic's revenue reached $16.3 billion over the first six months of 2026, compared with $1.1 billion in the same period of 2025. The company's net loss for the period was $80.7 billion, with roughly $72 billion of it attributable to noncash items related to bookkeeping and financing arrangements, according to Crypto Briefing.
In 2025, 47% of Anthropic's revenue, or $2.16 billion, was routed via the cloud marketplaces operated by Amazon $AMZN and Google $GOOGL, according to Crypto Briefing. In its risk disclosures, the draft also names potentially existential threats from advanced AI, according to Crypto Briefing.
Anthropic's latest private financing came in May, a $65 billion Series H that valued the company at $965 billion post-money, according to Crypto Briefing.
The IPO plans follow an announcement that Anthropic plans to commit 5% of its stock to a new public benefit fund, pending stockholder approval. The company said earlier this month that its board could add 2% of the company's stock each time its valuation climbs another 50% beyond a fixed starting point.
Anthropic said that with the fund, about 20% of its stock will be dedicated to the public good, plus any added stake. Its co-founders pledged to donate 80% of their equity at the company's founding, the company said.
