Indietronica has never been so in. We've got ear, Lockimara, RIP Magic, to name a few emerging acts. There's also the Healing Power Of Horses, a UK duo who released their debut EP Summer Indoors (or outside wearing black) earlier this year. Now, they're already announcing their second EP of the year, 8725.
Like the aforementioned acts, the Healing Power Of Horses make off-kilter earworms that weave electronic elements into indie rock. To match the music, they maintain a cryptic aura. The two members are known as t and c, and here's what they offer about 8725:
Number 8725 is "Ithpeal" or "Imperfect" in the Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew & English Bible Lexicon and it is also the amount of songs we have left on a Samsung T5 1GB Portable SSD. This time we spent summer outdoors, but not in the way you think. Time is so short, Autumn has drawn in and we're beside ourselves with laughter. These songs are an angel gift to you the listener. Won't someone buy us a Tiffany lamp?
The group is also getting ready to open some dates for shoegaze legends Ride in the UK. Check out the dates below along with the track.
