Baseball excitement is at an all-time high in Milwaukee and thousands of people want to get in on the World Series celebrations.
But that means spots at the Milwaukee Brewers' official World Series watch parties have been filling up quickly.
For the Game 3 watch party Monday, Oct. 26, with giant television screens streaming the game in St. Petersburg, Florida, face-value tickets were $15. Tickets went on sale Oct. 21 for season-ticket holders and Oct. 22 for the general public.
Fans said the tickets sold out within minutes, and one fan told the Journal Sentinel the website crashed. Immediately after tickets sold out, resale websites listed some for more than $100.
By Monday morning, Oct. 26, Game 3 tickets on Stub Hub could be purchased for as low as $37, but several were listed for more than $100.
Prices for the Game 4 watch party Tuesday, Oct. 27 – which has the potential to be the Brewers' World Series clincher if they win Game 3 – were higher, starting at $143.
The Brewers didn't respond to Journal Sentinel questions about how many tickets were sold for the watch parties.

Tickets for Game 1 and 2 at American Family Field broke records for the highest prices in World Series history. Watch parties at locations around the city have been swarming with crowds.
The Brewers haven't announced watch-party details for a potential Game 5.
