Sierra Leone’s Education Minister, Conrad Sackey, is set to unveil the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results on Tuesday, October 27, 2026.
The WASSCE, overseen by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), is taken by third-year Senior High School students and private candidates alike. This examination serves dual purposes: to determine eligibility for tertiary education and to certify secondary education completion.
While there might be a slight delay at the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE) in dispatching the results to individual schools, candidates can promptly access their scores online or via the MBSSE SMS result checker.
