A group of Serbian diplomats urged the Foreign Ministry's leadership not to take any important decisions or remove documents before the new government is formed.
The Diplomats Do Not Stay Silent informal group, which criticized the organization of voting abroad, said no personnel or financial decisions should be made, nor contracts accepted that exceed the authority of a caretaker government. It also warned that no official document should be removed, altered, destroyed or concealed, and that state funds and property must be used in line with the law.
The diplomats called on ministry staff and heads of diplomatic missions to refuse unlawful orders and keep written records of instructions they believe may be illegal.
